updating from rock & roll bookclub again →
I have to update my vox from Rock & Roll Bookclub again because we’re running late. It was a good club because we read the excellent Everything Matters! by Ron Currie, Jr. Now Ericka is…
The wonders →
Yesterday for unknown reasons I decided to create a playlist consisting of one-hit wonders. These were no ordinary one-hit wonders, these were personal one-hit wonders. Songs buy individuals…
For a book about the apocalypse, Everything Matters! is oddly uplifting and touching. Finished it with five hours to spare.
“The ruffles have such a profound visual impact I’m just seduced by them.” God, I love Tim Gunn.
It’s a little sad when a book starts to lose you on pg225 of 303.
I vow to never apply for a job that requires me to “think outside the box.” Personally, I don’t like to think in pointless cliche.

Here’s the problem with cleaning out the inbox. people respond back and it’s a never ending cycle. 34 down, 16 minutes to go.
Note to self: Don’t mention goals you want to reach on Twitter, also send letter bomb to @rycera

Making the your/you’re mistake makes me cringe in shame.
Feeling a little conflicted about Diablo Cody adapting Sweet Valley High for the big screen.
Florida Evans has one bitchin’ orange coat on today on Good Times.
Supergenius HQ would be a much better place to work if there was someone walking around asking me if I needed more coffee & then fetching it
Missing out on Matt Roesch at Magers & Quinn because of work. Boo. At least I get to double my rates!
A few things you probably don't know so I'll tell... →
There is a Lincoln car commercial that uses a hideous cover of “Burnin’ for You.” It is truly awful and should be avoided at all costs. I found a box of Thin Mints in the pantry. They are…

I’m going to go punch my neighbor in the throat if he honks that fucking horn one more time.
Did The Decemberists have to pay Bon Jovi for totally ripping off the intro to Wanted Dead or Alive for their song Margaret in Captivity?
The only thing better than my honking neighbor is Comcast’s daily, mid-afternoon dropsies. And by better I mean annoying as he’ll.
Hot! →
Hotrod things I look like Ben Gibbard. I have to say I’m honored. It’s better than looking like Andrew the Giant with Farrah Fawcett hair. Read and post comments | Send to a…
